Tyrone First Baptist Church will host Bible Conference 2000 beginning this Sunday

Dr. John Phillips and Dr. Herb Reavis will be the featured speakers during Bible Conference 2000 scheduled for Sunday through Wednesday, Nov. 7-10 at Tyrone First Baptist Church in Tyrone. Special worship music will be featured at all services. Co-sponsors for some sessions are Immanuel College and Fairburn Baptist Association.

Dr. Phillips has authored many books on both the Old and New Testaments. “He is well known as a speaker and is one of the best Biblical scholars of this century,” a spokesperson said. “His messages will move you to excitement as our Lord is revealed to you through each word.”

Dr. Reavis is the pastor of the North Jacksonville Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Fla. “He is a dynamic preacher and servant of God,” a spokesperson said. “The messages he delivers are both Biblically sound and inspirational. It will challenge you to a stronger commitment as we prepare for a new century.”

On Sunday, Nov, 7, Dr. Phillips will speak at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.

On Monday, Nov. 8 and Tuesday, Nov. 9, Dr. Phillips will speak at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m., and Dr. Reavis will speak at 7:50 p.m. A light lunch will be served following the 10:30 a.m. session and reservations are required. For reservations, call 770-487-4385.

On Wednesday, Nov. 10, Dr. Phillips will speak at 7 p.m.

Tyrone First Baptist is located at 305 Arrowood Rd., just off Senoia Rd. in Tyrone.
