Baptist welcomes new pastor The Rev. Randall Harris, originally from Griffin, has assumed duties as pastor at Lisbon Baptist Church. Rev. Harris has pastored churches in Louisiana and Tennessee. A 1969 graduate of Griffin High School and a 1973 graduate of North Georgia College, Harris served as a Captain in the U.S. Army before attending Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, Tenn., graduating in 1981. He received his masters degree in religious education and a masters in family counseling from Southwestern Theological Seminary and is presently writing his dissertation for a Ph.D. in counseling. Harris has been married for 20 years to the former Charlotte McClintock of Michie, Tenn. They have two teenage sons, Clay and Thomas, both attending Pike County High School and Gordon College. The Harris family resides in Williamson. |
