River's Edge to have Fall Festival Sunday

“The Wild, Wild West” sets the stage for the Fall Festival Family Celebration at River's Edge Community Church this Sunday, Oct. 31 from 5-8 p.m. And everything is free.

“Although planned for preschoolers and elementary students, there will be something for the whole family,” says Casey Wilkerson, festival coordinator. “One of the two moonwalks will be reserved for the little children, so no one will be hurt.” Other activities included are face painting, play yard, obstacle course, chili cook-off, live band, and, of course, lots of candy.

Pastor John Hatcher issues a special invitation to parents from churches that are not planning a similar event. “Come on over and let your kids enjoy what we've planned,” Hatcher said. “It's for everybody. Regardless, let me encourage parents of young children to attend a fall festival somewhere. Many churches in our community are offering one.”

River's Edge is located at 1091 Jeff Davis Drive, South, near the intersection of Jeff Davis, County Line, Inman and North Bridge roads.

For more information, call the church at 770-719-0303.
