Campaign contributions filed

The Citizen has obtained records of campaign contributions and expenditures for all five City Council candidates in Peachtree City, as of Tuesday.

The records are on file at City Hall and are public records. Candidates are required by law to itemize all contributions and expenditures of $101 or more, as well as the totals of all contributions and expenditures of $100 or less.

Candidates are listed below in alphabetical order.

Melvin Ewing (Post 1), in-kind contributions — none.

Ewing, cash contributions — $408.75 from Melvin Ewing of Peachtree City, $25 from contributions under $100, $433.75 total.

Ewing, expenses — $216 to Bush Signs of Montgomery, Ala. for campaign signs, $180 to Peachtree City for the qualifying fee, $37.75 to expenses under $100, $433.75 total.

Chuck Lehman (Post 2), in-kind contributions — $100 from David C. Lehman of Peacthree City, $200 from Bob Adams Homes of Tyrone.

Lehman, cash contributions — $500 from Bob Adams Homes of Tyrone, $125 from Velma Coursey of Peachtree City, $1,130.23 from Chuck Lehman, $30 from contributions under $100, $2,085.23 total.

Lehman, expenses — $186.88 to Magnetic Signs of Port Charlotte, Fla., $168 to Georgia Advertising of Fayetteville, $180 to Peachtree City for the qualifying fee, $105 to Office Depot of Fayetteville, $423.73 to A-1 Sign Co. of Spokane, Wash., $200 for a mailout, $821.70 for expenses under $100, $2,085.23 total.
