Christ Our Hope Lutheran members plan retreat

Members of Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church will have their fall retreat Friday and Saturday, Oct. 22 and 23 at Camp Calvin in Hampton. Those planning to attend are asked to try and arrive by 6:30 and get settled in before the dinner at 7 p.m. The retreat will conclude Saturday at 3 p.m. The cost is $35 per person and includes meals and one night's lodging. Those participating must provide their own bedding, towels and toiletry items. Pastor Halenza will lead the retreat. Reservations are required and space is limited. Sign up at the church.

Churchwide Missions banquet scheduled

Members of Fayetteville First Baptist Church will have their Churchwide Missions Banquet Friday, Oct. 22 at 6 p.m. The theme is “Through Every Door.” Reservations are required. For more information, call the church at 770-461-8378.

FFUMC plans youth hayride Oct. 24

All fourth and fifth graders at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church are invited to a Pre-UMYF hayride and picnic Sunday, Oct. 24. The cost is $5 per person. The group will leave the church at 4:30 p.m. and will return by 7:30 p.m. Those wishing to attend may sign up at the church.

Peachtree City UMC will have yard sale Oct. 23

The youth ministry of Peachtree City United Methodist Church will have a yard sale on Saturday, Oct. 23 from 8 a.m. until noon at the church. All proceeds will benefit youth missions and programs. The church is located onthe corner of Peachtree Parkway and Windgate Rd. in Peachtree City.

Christ Our Hope Lutheran men plan breakfast

The men of Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church will have a men's breakfast on Saturday, Oct. 23 at 8 a.m. at the church. Cooks will be Carl Driscoll and Johnny Johnson. Inman UMC sets Fall Festival for Oct. 23

Inman United Methodist Church invites members and guests to attend its Fall Festival at the Minter Farm on Hills Bridge Rd., Saturday, Oct. 23 beginning at 4 p.m. A hayride and games are planned for 4-6 p.m., followed by a hot dog and hamburger cookout from 6-7 p.m. Praise and worship around a bonfire are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. with activities expected to conclude around 8 p.m. For more information, call the church office at 770-461-2123.

Flat Creek Baptist plans Family Fun Safari

The community is invited to participate in Flat Creek Baptist Church's Family Fun Safari, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 30 from 5-7 p.m. at the church. Everyone is encouraged to wear their favorite safari or animal costume and to bring their family, friends and neighbors. Games, food, treats and surprises will be available for the children.
