Sallie
is on track with her criticisms Peachtree City has evolved into the wonderful place it is today through the efforts of several decades of dedicated and diverse public officials and volunteers. Sallie Satterthwaite, by the way, is the consummate example councilwoman, EMT, churchwoman, etc. for approximately 30 years. I am a 27-year resident who never fit into all the categories of Mr. Tennant's definition of the type of person who should be on the city council. I resent his narrow perspective and fear he cannot represent all the citizens of Peachtree City. Our country was founded on the premise that all men are created equal, and that freedom of religion is a right. I suggest to him that there are a lot of other categories out there single, widowed and divorced citizens, the elderly, workers who are not average income professionals and participants in many religions. I hope they all exercise their right to vote. Mary
