Candidate
Ewing vouches for Tennant As a conservative Christian candidate running for election, I know that character plays an important role in getting elected. Unfortunately, there are times when the debate over the issues dwindles away and accusations about the character of the candidates take its place. When dealing with a candidate's reputation in the public arena, it is of the utmost importance to insure that the information that you are providing is completely accurate. The intent of this letter is not to endorse anyone's campaign. The voters of Peachtree City need to select whomever they see fit to run their government. However, I would like to say that I have known Dan Tennant since 1995. Over those four years, Dan has never conducted himself in a way that would even hint of elitism, racism or anti-semitism. The Dan Tennant that I know is an unbiased man. I wanted to voice my opinion, and it is my hope that we will all treat others as we wish to be treated. Just one man's opinion. James Melvin Ewing [Editor's note: Ewing's opponent is incumbent Annie McMenamin.]
