This refers to the opinion piece by Sallie Satterthwaite entitled “Please, not in Peachtree City.”

I'm a journalist (editor of a weekly business/technology publication) working in Hong Kong, and I happen to be Dan Tennant's brother.

While I personally agree with much of what Sallie wrote and share her concern about the message that this “one of our own” business sends out (and have told Dan so), this piece certainly should never have been written without speaking to Dan first.

Dan is not the person he's portrayed to be in this article, and Sallie would have found that to be the case had she bothered to speak with him.

I would never have let one of my writers get away with that.

No wonder Dan is fed up with us “liberal journalists.” He's one of the good guys. At least give him a chance to prove it to you.
