Last phase of Albermarle now under construction

Construction has begun on the final six homes in Albemarle, Jerry Ballard Homes' 35-home neighborhood in Peachtree City.

The neighborhood, which has homes priced from the $180,000s to the $200,000s, is on Regents Park, a street that runs off Georgian Park, the street behind Kedron Village Shopping Center. Georgian Park can be entered from either Ga. Highway 74 North or Peachtree Parkway North.

Jerry Ballard Homes is offering eight different designs in Albemarle. The designs were created by Eisenlau, Craft & Associates Inc. and David Kent (dk Designs) to recall memories of homes built in the 1920s and 1930s.

Each home includes such features as a large covered front porch, copper roof accents, brick water table, a garage set back from the main house, wide crown moldings, nine-foot ceilings, shutters with shutter dogs, and a butler's pantry (serving area) between the kitchen and dining room.

For information about Albemarle phone Sue McClain, Jerry Ballard Realty's marketing agent in the community, at 770-486-1991. Jerry Ballard Homes is one of the south metro area's best known and most active home builders. Founded in 1979, the company is active in Peachtree City and other Fayette County locations, Coweta County, Clayton County and Henry County.

The company has a longtime commitment to provide “affordable elegance” for its home buyers, according to promotional literature.
