The five candidates for Peachtree City Council will get a chance to square off on the issues next week, and the public is invited to attend.

The Peachtree City Rotary Club is sponsoring Meet the Candidates Night Tuesday, Oct. 12, 7-9 p.m. at the Wyndham Conference Center.

Chuck Lehman, Bruce Perlman and Dan Tennant are vying for the Post 2 seat to be vacated by Jim Pace, who is not running again. Incumbent Annie McMenamin faces Melvin Ewing in Post 1.

Moderated by Rotary past president Doug Warner, the debate will include a three-person panel of Rotarians who will submit prepared questions to get the evening started, after which audience questions will be taken. Only issue-related questions will be accepted.
