Kirsten Pretzer, a fourth grader at Braelinn Elementary school,recently competed in the IronKids Bread Triathalon National Championship in San Antonio. The race was held on the campus of Palo Alto College and over 250 boys and girls ages 7-14 competed in the event.

Pretzer is the national champion for nine year old girls and placed fourth in the nation in the junior division. She hopes to continue her already illustrious triathalon career and is presently running cross country with the Fayette Flash team. Check your local listings as ESPN will televise the event in the near future.
