Atlanta City Church to host Worship Weekend
Oct. 8

Atlanta City Church in Fairburn will host a “Worship Weekend” featuring recording artist and worship leader Kent Henry on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 8-10 at the church on Jonesboro Road. Junior and senior high students ages 12-18 attend the entire weekend free of charge. Also, one senior pastor from each church may attend at no charge.

Friday night's session is free and will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday's session will be from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., with a lunch break from noon until 1 p.m., and will feature a time of worship, teaching and prayer. The cost for individuals is $15 and groups of five or more may register for $10 each. Worship leaders and music directors attend free with groups of 10 or more. There will be no childcare offered for Saturday's session.

On Sunday, Henry will speak at 10 a.m.

“This is one of the most important times of my life and yours,” Henry says. “We are approaching great times of change and increase. There's no better place to hear the voice of the Lord than with fellow believers sitting before the Lord at the
throne of Grace. Worship and the Word will continue to be our guidepost as we continue on his highway of holiness.

“I will be sharing and teaching about a vision God gave me over 20 years ago as I began in the ministry. I feel I am currently walking in this vision and God has opened a prophetic window in time and promise that is currently coming to pass right before our eyes.

“I will be introducing Jim Stern, young minister and worship leader, and my daughter, Jessica Henry, during this conference. Their lives together have become a clear indication from the Lord that the merging of the generations has begun.”

Atlanta City Church is on Old Jonesboro Rd. off Ga. Hwy. 138, two miles east of Exit 13 off I-85 (Shannon Mall Exit).
