Superior Court The criminal
trial calendar of 168 cases was trimmed
considerably last week during a couple of final
plea sessions. Among the cases resolved last week
were the following:
Christopher G.
Chaplin pled guilty to three counts of burglary
and two counts of forgery in the first degree. On
the first burglary count he received a seven-year
sentence, with four to serve and three on
probation, plus a $2,500 fine. On the other
burglary counts, Chaplin got five-year sentences
to run concurrently. He received three years on
each of the forgery charges. Barry Markham Travis pled
guilty to theft by shoplifting and was sentenced
to time served.
Deborah Lynn Travis
also pled guilty to theft by shoplifting and
received four years to serve.
Tiffany Dawn Hannah
pled guilty to possession of cocaine and theft by
shoplifting. She was sentenced to three years
probation on the drug charge and 12 months
probation on the shoplifting charge.
Patricia Ann Byrd
pled guilty to deposit account fraud and received
three years probation.
Deborah Leigh
Crownover Woody pled guilty to forgery in the
first degree and received three years probation.
Hoke Smith Hardy
pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine and
was sentenced to five years probation.
Ismael Ramirez
Reynoso pled guilty to possession of a firearm by
a convicted felon and received four years
probation.
Jamse Willie Culver
pled guilty to aggravated assault and received
five years probation.
Jonathan Paul
Goodman pled guilty to theft by receiving stolen
property and received five years probation.
Robert Wayne
Greenwood pled guilty to aggravated assault and
received a five-year prison sentence, with three
to serve.
Timothy D. Lewis
pled guilty to burglary and was sentenced to 12
months probation.
Bradley Allen
Mitchum pled guilty to burglary and criminal
damage to property in the second degree,
receiving a sentence of 12 months probation.
Patrick Lee Mobley
pled guilty to terroristic threats and acts and
received three years probation.
John Dewey Roberson
pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine,
possession of marijuana, defective equipment,
proper signal required, open container and
driving under the influence. He was sentenced to
five years probation.
Horace Donald
Vessel pled guilty to cruelty to children and
received five years probation.
Chad Christopher
Teat pled guilty to possession of a Schedule III
drug and possession of marijuana. He received 12
months probation.
David C. Willis
pled guilty to deposit account fraud and received
three ars probation.

theft by taking were dismissed.

Blair's charges of methamphetamine possession and
marijuana possession were dismissed.

Dimler's charge of theft by taking was dismissed.
