Peachtree City's Holiday Inn is
`Newcomer of the Year'

The Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites Peachtree City will accept one of the company's most prestigious awards at the upcoming annual convention in Las Vegas.

The Peachtree City hotel was chosen as the Newcomer of the Year for full service hotels worldwide and will receive the trophy from Bass chief executive officer Tom Oliver.

The criteria for winning the ward includes a series of stringent quality inspections, cleanliness scores and customer feedback during the course of the year. The award is bestowed only to those hotels that exemplify the best of the best worldwide.

“We are excited about representing Peachtree City and Fayette County and are ecstatic about this major award. Our team members have worked extremely hard to make this happen and deserve all the credit,” said general manager Ken Kula.

The hotel features 88 deluxe suites, each with separate living room, bedroom, VCR, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemakers and voice mail.

Additionally, the hotel provides a business center, fitness room, outdoor pool, golf cart rental, guest laundry and suite shop.
