The owner, Carla Gober (RN) with a strong background in oncology, founded Beautiful Additions in March 1998. This unique boutique fills a need for after-breast-surgery wear and accessories, and serves the entire south side.

Beautiful Additions offers a wide array of after-breast-surgery wear including breast prosthesis, mastectomy bras, mastectomy swimwear, wigs, attractive hats and turbans. For the mother-to-be, Beautiful Additions offers nursing bras, electric breast pumps and a full line of accessories.Also offered are full figure bras in hard to find sizes. Most recently, Carla has introduced a most attractive lingerie line with a wide array of sizes (small to 3X) that will fit you or that special someone! Carla also provides a local bridal registry, and for that person who is always "too busy," a personal shopper service.

Beautiful Additions provides its clients with personal, one-on-one service in a comfortable and private atmosphere. Carla's nursing background positions her to compassionately act as a liaison with doctors' offices. Additionally, she provides seminars to certify new mastectomy fitters on a national level.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Beautiful Additions will sponsor different activities throughout the month.
