No municipal election in Senoia this year

It looks like there will be no municipal elections in Senoia this year.

As of 12:01 p.m. yesterday, only three candidates had qualified for the three open positions. Mayor Joan Trammell qualified for the mayor's job, while current councilpersons Robert Hannah and Diane Cleveland qualified for their current council seats.

The municipal election would have been Nov.2.
