Recent incidents reported by the Fayetteville Police Department include the following:

An arrest Monday for attempting to take $352 worth of merchandise from Home Place without paying.

A shoplifter arrested Monday after taking $324 worth of merchandise from Marshall's.

A report Monday of a driver pointing a weapon at another driver.

An arrest Monday for forgery at Wal-Mart.

A report Monday of a purse stolen from a store on Pavilion Parkway.

A report Monday of appliances stolen from a house under construction.

A shoplifter arrested Monday after taking $6 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart.

A report Monday of a break-in and theft of a cellular phone from a car.

A report Monday of a criminal trespass at a construction site, with car windows broken and portable restrooms turned over.

A driver arrested Monday for no valid tag, no proof of insurance and violation of the Georgia Controlled Substance Act.

A report Sunday of a hubcap stolen from a car on Pavilion Parkway.

An arrest Sunday for forgery and fraudulent refund.

A driver arrested Sunday for no seatbelt and possession of marijuana (2nd offense).

A driver arrested Sunday for no tag and marijuana possession, and a passenger also arrested for marijuana possession.

A robbery Sunday at Burger King, with an unknown assailant taking a deposit bag from an employee and escaping on foot.

A driver arrested Sunday for no tag and VGCSA, with two passsengers arrested for no seatbelt and VGCSA.

A report Saturday of a burglary with cash taken from a residence.

A driver arrested Saturday for driving with a suspended license and speeding.

A report Friday of a criminal trespass and windows broken at a residence.

A shoplifter arrested Friday after taking $115 worth of merchandise from a store.

A report Thursday of a wedding band stolen from a purse at Fayette Community Hospital.

A report Thursday of a burglary of a house for sale, with a fireplace mantle and brass knobs stolen.
