Two more restaurants are scheduled to be open in Peachtree City by the end of the month.

On the Border Mexican Cafe is working toward a Sept. 20 unveiling, while Chili's Grill & Bar is looking at a Sept. 27 opening. Both are on the northwest corner of the intersection of Ga. highways 54 and 74.

Alcoholic beverage licenses for both establishments were approved by the City Council at last week's regular meeting. Barbara Mahoney of Texas is the licensee for both locations.

Another license was granted to an existing restaurant that is changing hands.

Bruce Kelly of Sagamore Enterprises is selling Johnny's New York Style Pizza and Subs on Commerce Drive, in the Westpark Walk shopping center, to Elise Enterprises. Karen Niederhausen is the new licensee.
