Next Tuesday will be a very special day in the life of The Heritage School in Newnan. At 2 p.m., the Katie Arnall Freeman Media Center will be dedicated and former Attorney General Griffin Bell will be the guest speaker. The media center, which was completed in August, houses a new library, two computer labs and a state-of the-art science lab. After nine months of watching this building grow, we are most anxious to turn it over to teachers and students and see what they can do with it! said Heritage headmaster Thomas Hudgins, Jr. Built with a $1 million gift from an anonymous donor, the media center represents the final construction project of the capital campaign launched in 1994. Other building projects completed earlier were a student life center and an athletic complex.
