The merger of two Coldwell Banker franchised companies on the south side of Atlanta has resulted in the creation of the largest Coldwell Banker franchise in Georgia. In the agreement, Coldwell Banker Jim Butcher Properties of McDonough has merged its operations into those of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty, which has its headquarters in Jonesboro and which has six offices throughout the region. Jim Butcher, who founded Jim Butcher Properties 10 years ago, remains with the merged operations and becomes the manager of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty's Builder Services Group. He will work from the company's Henry County office in McDonough. Steve Bullard, owner and president of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty, said he was extremely pleased about the merger. I am extremely excited about the merger of these two fine companies. In recent years, we have been in the process of becoming a large organization which can provide more services to our agents and customers, yet we are still small enough to provide a personal touch, Bullard said. Butcher said his decision to enter into the merger was based on his belief that it would be the best for both myself and my agents. He described Steve Bullard as a very honorable person. I've known him for 20 years and I know that he is a very astute businessman and that he's very protective of his agents.
