The Point offers lake amenities in a pastoral setting

Home buyers across the Atlanta area are finding a crown jewel at The Point on Lake Kedron in Peachtree City.

According to sales data compiled by Metro Listing Service, The Point has been the best-selling lake community from the $350's in Atlanta's south metro area for the first six months of 1999.

Elliott Stotler, senior vice president and general manager at Pathway Communities, the developer of The Point on Lake Kedron, is not surprised by the success of the community.

“Today's home buyers are sophisticated and savvy, and know exactly what they want. At The Point on Lake Kedron, we have sought to anticipate every need and exceed every expectation,” Stotler said.

The Point is surrounded on three sides by Lake Kedron and features a charming neighborhood with a trellised park, which serves as the community centerpiece. While walking paths and manicured grounds add to the neighborhood's ambience, many of the 62 home sites are situated on the lake and around the neighborhood space.

Stotler credits The Point's success to its unique atmosphere and exclusive builder group that reads like a “Who's Who” in custom home building. Gary Alford and Associates, Regency Homes and Jordon Properties are the award-winning builders at The Point.

To visit The Point on Lake Kedron, take Ga. Highway 74 or north Peachtree Parkway to Georgian Park. Travel one-half mile and turn onto Regents Park. Homes are priced from the $350's to $600's.

The on-site welcome center is open daily 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 1-6 p.m. For information, phone new home sales counselor Olivia Marquez or Jan Spell at 770-632-7010.
