Four arrested after police called to store

A single stop Saturday night in Fayetteville led to the arrest of four people for a variety of charges.
According to reports, officers responded at Belk at Banks Crossing at approximately 7 p.m. in reference to a possible forgery call. Upon entering the store, police saw four suspects leave and drive off in a 1988 Jeep Cherokee.
Two of the officers stopped the car near the Goodyear Tire center, at which time three people in the vehicle gave false names and dates of birth, police said. The fourth had an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction. One female in the car identified herself as a police officer, police said.
A green leafy substance was found in the vehicle, reports said. All four passengers were arrested and taken to jail.
Winifred Danita Brown, 29, of Riverdale was charged with giving a false name and date of birth, impersonating a police officer, and violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act.
Dwight Lamar Head, 32, of Riverdale was charged with giving a false name and date of birth and violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act. Antoinne D. Reid, 30, of Morrow received the same charges.
Regina Diane Smith, 29, of East Point was charged with violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act and also had an outstanding warrant out of East Point.
Other incidents in Fayetteville last week included:

An arrest at the East Point police station on a city bench warrant.
An arrest at Larrimore Detention Center on a city bench warrant.
A report of a larceny.
A report of a burglary.
A driver arrested for driving with a suspended license.
An arrest for violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act.A driver arrested for driving under the influence.
An arrest for an outstanding warrant out of Forest Park.
A report of a criminal trespass.
An arrest on an outstanding warrant out of Smyrna.
A driver arrested for giving false information to officers and driving with a suspended license.
A report of vandalism.
A report of marijuana possession.
A report of harassing telephone calls.
