National Heights Baptist Church will have a special service on Sunday, Sept. 19 at 10:55 a.m. featuring professional storyteller Tersi Bendiberg. The Sanctuary and Children's choirs will present “A Celebration of the Arts with Storytelling and Music: Parables, Poetry and Psalms.”

Bendiberg, a Cuban-born professional storyteller will tell three stories entitled “Stolen smells,” “Red Clay, Scarlet and Fried Green tomatoes,” and “Half a Blanket.” Her stories are often accompanied by instruments and singing.

The Sanctuary choir will sing “The Road Not Taken, “ a poem by Robert Frost with music by Randall Thompson.

The community is invited to attend. National Heights Baptist is located on the corner of Ga. Hwy. 54 and Old Norton Road.
