Ferguson to speak at Fayette Assembly of God

The Rev. Benny Ferguson will be guest speaker at Fayette Assembly of God Sunday, Sept. 5 at 10:45 a.m. Rev. Ferguson is the national coordinator of Light for the Lost, an evangelism ministry of the Assemblies of God, with headquarters in Springfield, Mo. The ministry raises funds to purchase evangelism literature for Assemblies of God foreign and home ministries. Last year, Light for the Lost raised over $8 million under Rev. Ferguson's leadership. Fayetteville FUMC will have talent show Sept. 1

Members of Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will have a talent show immediately following the fellowship dinner on Wednesday, Sept. 1.

Heritage Christian relocates

Children's choir practice at Bethany UMC

The children's choir at Bethany United Methodist Church, for children ages 5-12 years, will begin practice Wednesday, Sept. 8 from 6-8 p.m. children will begin rehearsals for a Christmas musical. Special activities and snacks will be provided from 7-8 p.m. Bethany is located at 507 Rivers Rd. in north Fayette County.

His House Church seeking singers, musicians

Chancel choir practice resumes at Bethany UMC

The Chancel Choir at Bethany United Methodist Church will resume rehearsals Wednesday, Sept. 8 from 7-8 p.m. Child care will be provided. Bethany is located at 607 Rivers Rd. in north Fayette County.

Swing dance classes offered at F'ville First UMC

Swing dance classes will be offered by Fayetteville First United Methodist Church each Tuesday at 7 p.m. beginning Tuesday, Sept. 7. Classes are held in the gym and are $30 per person. Pairs are best but singles are always welcome. For more information, call Paula Littleton at 770-461-1948.

Children's programs resume at McDonough Rd.

The children's choirs and missions programs will resume at McDonough Road Baptist Church Wednesday, Sept. 1 at 6 p.m. Children's choirs/classes begin at age 2 and go through sixth grade. Mission Friends, Girls in Action and Royal Ambassadors will meet following choir practice.

Providence UMC to offer weight loss program

Bible study class starts at PTC United Methodist

PTC UMC to offer divorce care seminar

A 13-week Divorce Care seminar/video and workbook series will be offered at the Peachtree City United Methodist Church beginning Sunday, Sept. 12. The class will be taught in room 300 from 10:45 a.m.-noon. Participation is not limited to church members. The church is at Windgate Road and Peachtree Parkway.
