| 1st Thursday prayer
meeting moves to Sams Auditorium The First
Thursday Noon Community Prayer meeting heads to a
new, larger setting this week.

Gray Harwell said the new meeting place will be
the Sams Auditorium at the Old Fayette County
High School, 205 LaFayette Ave., Fayetteville.
Previously, the meeting was in the “Log
Cabin” American Legion post in Fayetteville.
With
the theme of “Isn't it time for the Church
to come together and pray?” the meeting is
designed to be an hour of prayer open to all
individuals and churches in Fayette County,
Harwell said.
Local
pastors and spiritual leaders from various local
ministries will share leadership of the meetings,
during which individuals are encouraged to pray
for the churches, the schools, leaders and the
community.
Meeting
time continues to be noon, the first Thursday of
