Recent arrests in Peachtree City include the following:

Merrill S. Harris, 20, of Peachtree City Aug. 16 on an outstanding warrant out of Tyrone for failure to appear.

Jorge Barrera, 22, of Newnan Aug. 16 for allowing unlawful operation of a vehicle and obstruction of law enforcement.

Agustin V. Hernandez, 25, of Newnan Aug. 16 for no driver's license, defective exhaust and obstruction of law enforcement.

Jose J. Gonzales, 27, of Atlanta Aug. 17 for no insurance, no driver's license and unregistered vehicle.

Ira E. Chapman, 39, of Peachtree City Aug. 18 for driving without headlights and no driver's license.

Cheryl L. Watkins, 29, of Jonesboro Aug. 18 for driving on a suspended license and failure to maintain lane.

Carl Chandler, 50, of Union City Aug. 18 on an outstanding warrant for violation of probation out of Union City.

Howard McMullen, 54, of Atlanta, Aug. 19 on an outstanding warrant out of Peachtree City for contempt of court.

Tina R. Lee, 20, of Hoganville Aug. 14 for driving under the influence, failure to maintain lane and open container.

Glenn W. Alewine, 36, of Peachtree City Aug. 18 for driving under the influence, open container, failure to maintain lane and no proof of insurance.

Unrique Amey, 32, of LaGrange Aug. 20 for limits to sound volume produced by radio, suspended driver's license and open container.

Tommy Wilkes, 42, of East Dublin Aug. 19 for loitering.

Ferrell Williams, 31, of East Dublin Aug. 19 for possession of marijuana and loitering.

Paul K. Keser, 54, of Peachtree City Aug. 20 for open container.

Jonathan A. Cannon, 21, of Tyrone Aug. 21 for driving under the influence, open container and failure to maintain lane.

Gary D. Roberts, 18, of Peachtree City Aug. 21 on an outstanding warrant for party to a crime (theft) out of Fayette County. Marcos Silva, 26, of Peachtree City Aug. 22 for violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act (marijuana) and failure to stop at a stop sign.

Donald J. Coffee, 27, of Marietta Aug. 22 for possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana.

Chad B. Serapion, 18, of Peachtree City Aug. 23 for driving under the influence, possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute and defective equipment.

Other police investigations include:

Theft of 149 scratch-off lottery tickets from the Village Store in Braelinn Village. It appears to be internal.

Criminal trespass at a residence on Las Braces Court. The perpetrator threw rocks and damaged the residence.
