His House Church offers `Wonderful Wednesdays'

His House Community Church in Fayetteville is offering a time each week dedicated to the basics of Christianity. Those in the community are invited to participate each Wednesday from 7-8:30 p.m. for discussions on “How to Study the Bible,” “Old Testament Survey,” “New Testament Survey,” and “Basic Christian Doctrines.” Meetings will be at the American Legion Log Cabin on Hwy. 85 in Fayetteville. Zion Lutheran offers Parents' Night Out

Parent volunteers of Zion Lutheran Church in Newnan will offer a Parents' Night Out on Friday, Sept. 3 from 6-11 p.m., giving adults the opportunity to have some time for themselves while their children participate in age-appropriate activities and games. Registration is required one week in advance and there is a fee of $5 per family to cover the cost of snacks. The church is at 53 Country Club Rd. in Newnan. Parents who would like to register their children may call the church office at 770-253-2884.
