The Crushers, Peachtree City's 9- and 10-year-old American League All Star team, had a habit of handily defeating their opponents. They headed to the Little League District All Star tournament in Senoia with hopes of capturing the District 4 banner.

The games were battles, and a new hero emerged everyday for the Crushers. They faced West Point in the championship game, with a chance at heading to the state tournament on the line. The Crushers won 23-0 and headed to face the nine other district winners in the state.

The level of play was at the highest level, and the Crushers gave everything they had in every game. Their overall record in the tournament was 2-2 and they finished the season sixth out of 162 all star teams in Georgia.

The Crushers finished in the highest position of any Peachtree City Little League All Star team that has enetered state tournament play.
