Dan Tennant announced this week that he has selected Kent Sisler to serve as his campaign manager in his upcoming race for the Post 2 seat on the City Council of Peachtree City, while Ann Matwick will be campaign treasurer. Sisler, a former National Basketball Association player and father of two, has extensive experience in managing political campaigns, according to Tennant, including some at the state and congressional level in Kentucky. Matwick, a nine-year resident of Peachtree City and mother of three, is active in the Braelinn community. Tennant says that she and her husband, John, a pilot, were instrumental in helping Tennant win the Braelinn precinct in the 1995 election, when he was a write-in candidate. I couldn't be happier to have these two fine people serve in these vital roles in our campaign, Tennant said in a written statement. The grass roots support we have enjoyed over the past couple of months has been overwhelming, and I know Kent and Ann will help keep the train running smooth and strong throughout the campaign. Qualifying for city elections is in mid-September, and election day is Nov. 2.
