TBN stars to perform at Abundant Life Church

Dean and Mary Brown from the Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN) will perform “Special Music that Ministers” at Abundant Life Church on Sunday, Aug. 22 beginning at 6 p.m. A nursery will be provided. Christ Our Hope resumes Wednesday communion

Wednesday evening communion services will resume at Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church Wednesday, Aug. 18 at 7:10 p.m. The services are 20 minutes in length and give the opportunity for silent prayer and meditation as well as receiving communion. Blood drive at Fayetteville First Baptist is today

The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be at Fayetteville First Baptist Church Wednesday, Aug. 18 from 3:30-7:30 p.m. The church is located on Stonewall Avenue East, one block off the square, in Fayetteville.

Bethany ladies plan trip to Westville Village

The Circle of Love at Bethany United Methodist Church is planning a trip to Westville Village in Lumpkin Thursday, Aug. 19. The group will leave the church at 9 a.m. Friends are welcome.

Liberty Hill A.M.E. plans homecoming Aug. 22

Liberty Hill A.M.E. Church in Sharpsburg will have Homecoming Day Sunday, Aug. 22. Special guests will be Pastor Frederick J. McCullough and the St. James A.M.E. Church of Monticello. A service will be held at 3 p.m.

McDonough Rd. plans dinner, gospel sing Aug. 22

Members of McDonough Road Baptist Church will have a church-wide dinner on the grounds and gospel sing Sunday, Aug. 22. The community is invited to attend.

Liberty Hill A.M.E. will have revival Aug. 25

Liberty Hill A.M.E. Church in Sharpsburg will have a revival Wednesday, Aug. 25 through Friday, Aug. 27 with services at 7:30 p.m. each night. Guest evangelist will be Pastor David Johnson, associate minister at Allen Temple A.M.E. Church in Woodstock. Liberty Hill is on Minix Rd. in Sharpsburg.

McDonough Road Baptist plans Bible study class

“A Heart Like His,” a Bible study course written by Beth Moore, will be offered at McDonough Road Baptist Church beginning Wednesday, Aug. 25 at 6:15 p.m. The course will examine the “heart” of David and how, according to Old Testament scriptures, he was used by God in spite of his disobedience. There is a workbook cost of $15.

New Hope Baptist sets blood drive for Aug. 25
