Christ Our Hope resumes Wednesday communion

Wednesday evening communion services will resume at Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church Wednesday, Aug. 18 at 7:10 p.m. The services are 20 minutes in length and give the opportunity for silent prayer and meditation as well as receiving communion. The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be at Fayetteville First Baptist Church Wednesday, Aug. 18 from 3:30-7:30 p.m. The church is located on Stonewall Avenue East, one block off the square, in Fayetteville.

McDonough Road Baptist plans Bible study class

“A Heart Like His,” a Bible study course written by Beth Moore, will be offered at McDonough Road Baptist Church beginning Wednesday, Aug. 25 at 6:15 p.m. The course will examine the “heart” of David and how, according to Old Testament scriptures, he was used by God in spite of his disobedience. There is a workbook cost of $15.
