Traffic was backed up briefly Monday night when two automobiles collided at Peachtree Parkway and Ga. Highway 54.

According to reports, a sedan ran into a minivan shortly before 7 p.m. and caused the minivan to turn over. The driver of the minivan was taken to Fayette Community Hospital for treatment.

Both cars were cleared from the scene in less than an hour. Although several lanes had to be closed for a few minutes, a Peachtree City Fire Department spokesman said that traffic was not as big a problem as it could have been since most rush-hour traffic was already gone.
