Peachtree City's Dicky Thompson won his second consecutive Georgia Open on Sunday. His amazing streak included leading the tournament for eight straight rounds.

The 42 year old former PGA Tour player donned his traditional red University of Georgia shirt on Sunday and made an amazing charge on the last four holes. Tied with Rob McKelvey at 20 under par, Thompson went on an incredble scoring barrage and McKelvey fell back.

Thompson tied the tournament record with a 72 hole score of 265. He finished the tournament 23 under par. This weekend, Thompson heads to the Nike event in Springfield and hopes to continue his success.
