Reservations are being accepted for The Magnolias of Eagle's Landing

Home site reservations are now being accepted in The Magnolias of Eagle's Landing, the newest neighborhood in the master planned community in the Stockbridge area of Henry County.

Stacey Irwin, broker for Custom Community Marketing, which is handling sales in the neighborhood, said there will ultimately be 180 homes in The Magnolias.

The first phase, which has 63 wooded home sites approximately one-third of an acre in size, will offer homes priced from $150,000 to $250,000.

Builder in the neighborhood will be Tim Jones Communities, one of the best known home building firms in the south metro area. Eight to 10 different floor plans, including one and two-story designs, will be built in The Magnolias, and basement lots will be available.

Amenities in the neighborhood include a junior Olympic-sized swimming pool, two tennis courts, a playground and sidewalks. The area is served by the Eagle's Landing school district.

On-site agents are Terry Gill and Elaine Fox from Custom Community Marketing, who can be contacted by calling 770-507-1151. Reservations are currently being taken at a sales trailer, but construction is underway on what will be a furnished model home.

The home building company in The Magnolias is headed by Tim Jones, who in October became the president of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association. Jones has been in building since he was 19 years old and is the past president of the Metro South Home Builders Association.

Three years ago, he and his company received the prestigious Diamond Builder award from 2/10 Home Buyers Warranty, the nation's leading 10-year home buyer's warranty program, for superior construction standards, design quality and outstanding customer service.

Tim Jones Communities earned a Gold Award as the top winner for value and design in the category for Single Family Detached Homes ($100,000 to $129,999 price range) in the 1998 Professionalism Awards program. Also last year, the company was among the first group of metro Atlanta area builders to receive the prestigious Certified Professional Home Builder designation.

The Eagle's Landing master-planned community, a Killearn Properties development, is at the intersection of Interstate 75 and Eagle's Landing Parkway (exit 73).

The community has a variety of home sizes and styles, with prices from $140,000 to over $1 million.
