State Court

Fayette County State Court is now conducting a two-week session of criminal jury trials. Verdicts have been reached in the following cases:

Robert Lee Samples Sr. was found guilty of prowling and sentenced to six months in jail.

Troy M. Masson was found guilty of theft by shoplifting and received 12 months probation and a $1,000 fine.

Augustas Bleu Walsh was found not guilty of marijuana possession.

Clay Frank Garland was found guilty of keeping a disorderly house and sentenced to 12 months probation and a $1,000 fine.

Angel Francisco Puig pled nolo contendre to marijuana possession and received 12 months probation along with a $1,000 fine.

Tammy Jean Moody was found guilty of maintaining a disorderly house and sentenced to 12 months probation and a $200 fine.

Grady Michael Couch was found guilty of simple battery, receiving 12 months probation and a $200 fine.

Christina Lauren Botero pled nolo contendre to weaving over a roadway and received 12 months probation and a $50 fine.

John A. Drage pled nolle prosequi to prowling and improper tag display and guilty to marijuana possession. He received 12 months in jail and a $1,000 fine.

Seth Wood pled guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with an unlawful alcohol concentration, receiving 12 months probation, including 24 hours in jail, and an $800 fine.

Other items on the current calendar include:

William Paul Tanner — marijuana possession.

Fred John Sward — driving under the influence of alcohol, obstruction of a law enforcement officer.

Marilyn W. Hill — obstruction, having an improper tag.

Walter W. Ullengren — marijuana possession.

Ralph Luther Counts — stalking, carrying a concealed weapon, violation of the open container law.

John Paul Camp — marijuana possession.

Darryl James Harvey — simple battery.

Christopher W. Godbolt — marijuana possession.

Mark Douglas Erlich — criminal trespass, disorderly conduct.

Andrew Nicholas Jones — use of fighting words, obstruction of an officer, hindering an officer.

Aaron B. McFarlane — simple battery, obstruction of an emergency phone call.
