• Bradley Murphy, LUTCF sales manager at Prudential's Fayetteville agency, recently was selected to attend the company's President's Conference in St. Thomas.

Murphy was selected to attend the prestigious conference in recognition of his excellence in managing the sales of insurance and financial products and in providing quality customer service.

He is among a select number of top performing general managers and sales managers from Prudential agencies across the country to qualify to attend the conference.

The Prudential Insurance Company of America, with total assets of more than $279 billion, is the largest life insurance company in the U.S. and one of the largest diversified financial institutions in the world.

• Kathy Erickson of Erickson's Jewelers, on the Courthouse Square, has been named to the city of Fayetteville's Main Street Board of Directors.

“I'm really looking forward to working on the Main Street board and I think there's a lot of really good things we can do for the city of Fayetteville,” said Erickson.

The Main Street Fayetteville organization works to revitalize the city's downtown area.
