School bus routes now available on
Worldwide Web

The Fayette County School District now offers cyber help for parents who need information on their children's school bus routes.

The bus routes, bus drivers' names and bus numbers for elementary and middle/high school buses are posted on the school board's web site — www.fcboe.org.

To locate your student's bus stop, start by finding the school. Find the bus that serves your area, find the bus stop that is closest to your house, find the time for morning and afternoon pick-up and drop-off.

Times may vary the first few days of school.

Transportation coordinators expect that the driver will be able to give a more accurate time for pick-up and drop-off after the first week of school.

For those not technologically inclined, bus route information also is available at the Board of Education office on Stonewall Avenue in downtown Fayetteville. For information, phone the school board transportation office at 770-460-3520.
