Inman church hosts revival

The Inman United Methodist Church invites the community to a series of old fashioned revival services at the historic Minter farm on Hills Bridge Road. Services will be Sunday, Aug. 8, through Tuesday, Aug. 10 at 7 p.m.

A covered dish picnic will precede the Sunday night service, and time for fellowship will follow Monday and Tuesday evenings.

Inman pastor, the Rev. Doug Burrell, will speak Sunday night, as the church celebrates the end of its Harvest Pledge Campaign for its proposed education and family activities building.

Monday night, the Rev. Don Harp Jr., an Inman native and senior pastor of Peachtree Road UMC in Atlanta, will be the guest speaker.

Tuesday night, Brock Eady of Carrollton will share his testimony and play the trumpet.

Directions to Inman UMC and the Minter farm: From Fayetteville, take Ga. Highway 85 south to Ga. Highway 92. On Hwy. 92, proceed south to Inman. Turn left on Hills Bridge Road (across from Davis' Country Store). Proceed about one-and-a-half miles to the farm. Phone 770-461-2123 for information.
