Briefs Bank president Mark Kearsley and the board of directors of Fayette County Bank, recently announced the addition of Tate Godfrey to its board. Godfrey is presently director of industrial and office sales and leasing for Peachtree City Brokerage Group, a division of Pathways Communities. In the six years he has been in Peachtree City, Godfrey has helped more than 30 new corporate citizens locate to the city. These new businesses represent more than $300 million in new investment and over 2,000 new jobs for local citizens. Rose Massengale recently joined the local office of the financial services firm Edward Jones as a branch office administrator trainee. The title of branch office administrator was adopted for this position because of the wide range of responsibilities associated with the job. A BOA is not only responsible for the daily operation of the branch, but must also provide top-level client service and marketing support to my activities, said Melinda Whitlock, local investment representative for the firm. With more than 4,700 offices, Edward Jones is the largest financial services firm in the nation, in terms of offices. |
