| Holly Grove church

The
Holly Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church
will participate in the unveiling of a historical
marker at its church Sunday, Aug. 1.
The
ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. and those taking
part along with the church are The Georgia
Historical Society and the city of Peachtree
City.
The
church was formed in 1897 and has been in
continuous operation since that time.
The
Georgia Historical Marker Program is a program of
the Georgia Historical Society and is a joint
venture between the society and the group or
organization wishing to install a marker.
The
church is at 400 Holly Grove Road in southern
Peachtree City. Everyone is invited.
