The 20th annual National Sports Collectors Convention will be held at the Georgia Worl Congress Center, July 22-25. Admission is $10 a day,but will be free for children 15 and under on Thursday.

The Soccer Centre in Fayetteville will have an indoor/outdoor soccer camp July 26-30 at the center. The half-day camp runs 9 a.m. to noon. The camp is for boys and girls 5-14. The camp is $85 for the week or $25 a day. Call 770-460-8785.

The Soccer Centre in Fayetteville is looking for men over 40 years old to play in the Fall 1999 indoor soccer league. Georgia Wildlife Federation presents 1999 Atlanta Buckarama at the Atlanta Expo Center August 5-8. Admission is $6 for adults, $3 for children ages 6-12 and free to children under the age of 6.

The Brooks Area Recreation Department will hold football and cheerleading registration the last three Saturdays in July at the Jarrett Young Field House at Brooks park. The WILSON 100 will be held Sunday, Sept. 12. in Fayetteville. The Southern Bicycle League's annual century features rides of 30,60, and 100 miles plus a double metric (124 mile) option! Chipshot.comwill hold a $100,000 downtown golf challenge, July 22-23 at Lenox Square Mall. The challenge is open to all levels of amateurs, excluding those who have played high school and college golf in the past five years. The event will run from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Friday.

The Fayette County Recreation Department will offer sports camp and adventure camp July 26-30. Both camps cost $5 per person. Sports camp runs from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. each day, offering a different sporting activity evry day of the week. For only $5, mountain bikers can take a guided overnight trip at Fort Mountain State Park. The ride is scheduled for August 7 and gear will be transported for riders while they tackle a 14.6 mile advanced mountain bike trail. The ride begins at 1 p.m. Call 706-695-2621 by Aug. 1.

The Fayette County Youth Soccer league will hold registration for boys and girls on Saturdays July 24 and 31 forom 10 a.m.-2 p.m. New players must bring a copy of their birth certificate. the fee is $40 for children 3 and a half -6, $70 for kids 6-8, and $80 for children 8 and older.
