Cellular phone store is ringing up business at the Pavilion

BellSouth Mobility's success for eight years in Peachtree City has spawned a new location in the county.

This month, the company opened a new store at the Fayette Pavilion to help meet the need of Fayette's growing number of cellular customers.

“We've certainly been pleased with the response of Fayette County's residents in selecting BellSouth Mobility for their airtime service and for their cellular equipment,” said Leon Walker, district sales manager for the metro south region. “This new location will allow us to serve more of the business community in south Fulton, Fayette and surrounding areas as well.”

Walker also announced that he had appointed Lynn Rakestraw to manage the company's new store at the Pavilion.

“Lynne has been an outstanding store manager in Griffin since 1995, and won numerous awards as a district sales representative prior to that. My confidence in her ability to serve this new area is extremely high,” Walker added.

Competing against sales reps in all of BellSouth's regions, Rakestraw received the top Atlanta sales award in 1998.

“To tell you the truth, I simply love what I do,” Rakestraw said. “When you have a top-quality product and you love people, sales are the easiest thing in the world. I look forward to getting to know everyone around Fayetteville,” Rakestraw said.

The store's grand opening and ribbon cutting is set for July 28 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
