Line Creek Nature Center to host fishing rodeo

The first Fishing Rodeo for disabled children will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m Saturday, July 17 at the Arnold Cheek Memorial Fishing Dock in the Line Creek Nature Center in Peachtree City.

The first family fishing outing for disabled children is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Peachtree City and the Southern Conservation Trust.

All of the fishing equipment will be provided. Catfish and other encounters with nature will be provided by the Line Creek Nature Center. The nature Center, just south of Ga. Highway 54 on Ga. Highway 74, is designed to be accessible to the handicapped and will be open to the public starting after the fishing rodeo.
