Youth group activities at Bethany UMC

A Youth Group for children ages 5-12 meets each Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Bethany United Methodist Church. Children are invited to participate in games and other activities. Moms are invited to use the exercise equipment or help make crafts for the fall bazaar. Bethany is at 607 Rivers Road in north Fayette County. For more information, call the church at 770-964-6992.

Zion Lutheran offers Parents' Night Out

Parent volunteers of Zion Lutheran Church in Newnan will offer a Parents' Night Out on Friday, Aug. 6 from 6-11 p.m., giving adults the opportunity to have some time for themselves while their children participate in age-appropriate activities and games. Registration is required one week in advance and there is a fee of $5 per family to cover the cost of snacks. The church is at 53 Country Club Rd. in Newnan. Parents who would like to register their children may call the church office at 770-253-2884.

Bible study, discussions on Orthodox Faith

Bible study and group discussions on the Orthodox Faith are being offered at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church on the corner of Peachtree Parkway and Ga.
