Families moving into Wentworth

Four families already occupy homes built by Meyer-Sutton Homes in Wentworth, the newest golf, swim and tennis neighborhood in the White Oak community in Coweta County.

In addition to these four occupied homes, two other homes are under contract and there are five spec homes, three of which are completed. Several of these residences are situated along the 13th hole of the “old course” at Canongate-at-White Oak golf course.

Meyer-Sutton Homes, one of the south Atlanta area's premier builders, is constructing at least 35 of the homes in Wentworth, which will have a total of 70 homes.

On Lower Fayetteville Road east of Shenandoah Boulevard, the neighborhood offers homes priced from $197,999 to $264,900.

Meyer-Sutton is building a variety of different house plans, including ranch and two-story designs. Exterior options include all brick, stucco and stone, and brick and vinyl.

The Meyer-Sutton homes offer many upgrades as standard features, including hardwood foyers, hardwood kitchens and breakfast rooms, designer Corian countertops in kitchens, European-style white kitchen cabinets, white-on-white appliances, interior trim with Hi-Gloss paint, a relaxing Whirlpool tub in the master bath, tilt-out, double paned vinyl windows, side entry garages and sodded front yards. These are low-maintenance and energy-efficient homes, and basement and golf course lots are available.

Steve Freeman of Re/Max Results' Newnan office is marketing the homes in the neighborhood. He can be contacted at 770-252-4500, or information is available on the internet at www.steve-freeman.com/wentworth.htm.

Meyer-Sutton Homes, whose principals include Bill Buchanan and Al Karnes, is a firm whose principals have real estate construction and mortgage banking experience spanning nearly 25 years. The company also is building in The Vineyards at Eagle's Landing, Dickerson Cove and Emerald Pointe in Henry County, and Legacy Estates II, BraeBurn at White Oak, and The Courtyards in Coweta County.
