• Pathway Communities is pleased to welcome Charles Biele, one of the South's most accomplished professionals in the area of master-planned community development and marketing, to its team. Biele joins Pathway Communities as senior vice president of development. Biele will have the overall responsibility for the company's Henry County project, a 434-acre, mixed-use, master-planned community, slated to break ground later this year. He will manage the residential and commercial land sales as well as overseeing the advertising and marketing programs for the community. In addition, he will be responsible for the communities home builder initiatives, including recruiting new builders and working with current builders to ensure competitive positioning in the market.

• Cyndee Lizana-Gause has joined the Newnan branch of Griffin Financial Services as a fulltime loan officer.

Mrs. Lizana-Gause, who has 10 years of experience in the mortgage and consumer loan field, joined Griffin Financial Services in 1990. She has previously worked in their Secondary Marketing Department and has been originating loans part-time for the last two years.

She has extensive knowledge of all conventional, jumbo and government financing programs and also specializes in sub-prime lending.
