Real estate agent rescues the family pet

Jack Finn of the Prudential Georgia Realty's Peachtree City office became a hero recently when he ran into a burning house and rescued the family dog.

When he arrived at a client's home to finalize a real estate transaction, Finn noticed the neighbor's roof was engulfed in flames. Finn immediately told his client to call 911 and Finn started running towards the burning house.

Finding the front door unlocked, Finn entered the home and attempted to rescue any trapped occupants. The only occupant of the home was the family dog and he was able to rescue it.

“It's all part of the job. As a real estate associate, I help create and fulfill dreams of homeownership and family. I am proud to play any role in helping people maintain those dreams,” he said.

Lynda Dunn, managing broker of the Peachtree City office had nothing but high praise for Finn.

“We feel very lucky to have Jack as part of our team. Not only does he make Georgia a better place to live, but he contributes greatly to making our company a better place to work,” she said.
