National Heights Baptist auction July 9

Members of National Heights Baptist Church will have a dinner and auction Friday, July 9 at 6 p.m. The cost is $5 per person and includes hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, soft drink and homemade ice cream. Those who have items for auction are asked to bring them to the church no later than July 8. Articles should be valued at a minimum of $25, be in good working order and tagged with the donor's name and starting price. Reservations for the dinner should be made by July 8. Proceeds from the event will go toward purchasing carpet for all the children's classrooms.

New Hope Baptist evangelistic block party

New Hope Baptist Church will host an evangelistic block party for the community Sunday, July 4. Members will prepare hot dogs and hamburgers to share and give out Bibles to persons in the neighborhood.All persons in the community are invited.
