Gebhardt-Walker Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gebhardt of Fayetteville announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Krista Jo, to Chad Walker, son of Mr.. and Mrs. Tom Walker of Alpharetta. The bride-to-be is a 1993 graduate of Landmark Christian School and a 1997 graduate of the State University of West Georgia, where she earned a B.A. in art. She was a cheerleader and a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She is employed with Delta Airlines as a flight attendant. The groom-elect is a 1991 graduate of Milton High School and a 1997 graduate of the State University of West Georgia where he earned a B.S. in education. He was a member of the football team and was named a Division II All-American and the Georgia Hall of Fame's Male Athlete of the Year in 1996. He is a teacher at Cobb Middle School and is head track coach and assistant football coach at Wheeler High School. The wedding is planned for June 19 at Fayetteville Christian Church. The couple will reside in Acworth. Sloan-Precise Patricia Chennault Sloan of Fayetteville and Roger William Sloan of McDonough announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Lee, to Scott Howard Precise, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Leon Precise of Homewood, Ala. The bride-to be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max Thompson Chennault of Fayetteville and the late Mrs. Anne Chennault, and Mr. and Mrs. George Thomas Sloan of Waycross and the late Lena Sloan. She is a graduate of Birmingham Southern College and the University of Alabama School of Law, and is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha fraternity. She is employed in Birmingham. The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. John Nicholas Musfeldt of Manning, Iowa and the late Mr. Musfeldt, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Samuel Precise of Scottsboro, Ala. He is a graduate of Birmingham Southern College and Emory University's Candler School of Theology. He is employed in Birmingham. The wedding is planned for July 10. The groom is a 1988 graduate of Stephen County High School and received bachelor's degrees in both business administration and geology from the University of Georgia. The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Felton Leavell Rainwater and the late Robert Oglesby Burnett, Sr. of Griffin, and Willard Jasper Clark and the late Betty Autrey Clark of Griffin. He is a 1991 graduate of Fayette County High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University in 1996. He is employed with Holder Construction Co. as a senior engineer. The wedding will be June 26 at 6 p.m. at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. The couple will reside in Powder Springs. Wood-Kearns Mr. and Mrs. Ben William Wood of Trinidad, Colo., announce the marriage of their daughter, Taralyn Drift, to Colin Patrick Joseph Kearns, son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Kearns of Peachtree City. The bride is a 1996 graduate of Hoehne High School, Hoehne, Colo., and a 1998 graduate of Trinidad State Junior College in Trinidad, Colo. with an Associate of Arts degree with educational emphasis. The groom is a 1993 graduate of Kingwood High School in Kingwood, Texas and a 1997 graduate of West Point Military Academy with a degree in environmental engineering. He is a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army stationed at Ft. Sill, Okla. He also is attending Webster University working towards his Master's degree in management.
