Cora L. Horne, 51, of College Park was arrested Friday for driving under the influence, open container and following too close, after causing an accident at the intersection of Ga. Highway 85 and N. Jeff Davis Road, police said.

Chad Parker, 20, of Jonesboro was arrested Friday in Clayton County on an outstanding warrant from the city of Fayetteville for failure to appear June 3 on a charge of no tag.

Twyla Shai Rollins, 20, of Riverdale was arrested Friday at Home Depot, where she was employed, and charged with theft by taking for stealing $150 from a cash register.

Cynthia Moore, 42, of Decatur was arrested Friday and charged with shoplifting. Police responded to a call of a shoplifting in progress and waited outside the T.J. Maxx store. When the suspect came out, the complainant followed her and stopped her, police said. A search of her purse found approximately $155.92 in merchandise hidden inside, police said.

Antoine Dantae Wallace, 21, of Atlanta was arrested Saturday and charged with possession of marijuana (less than one ounce). He was involved in a traffic stop by a K-9 unit where the dog alerted police to the presence of drugs, police said.

Kirk D. Matthews, 23, of Fayetteville was arrested Sunday and charged with driving under the influence, excessive speed, and failure to maintain his lane. He was stopped at Ga. highways 85 and 92 and failed a sobriety test, police said.
