Kroger to close cooking school end of June

The popular Kroger Cooking School in Peachtree City will close its doors the end of this month, store sources said this week.

Store managers plan to restructure their culinary program, departing from instructional classes, which cost an average of $25 per person, to complimentary “how to” sessions.

Kitchen facilities formerly used for the cooking school will be reduced in size and become a demonstration center where two culinary trained people will prepare dishes repeatedly during the shopping day.
